MPN College Mullana (Ambala)

On 4th February 2023, a street play on the topic of HIV/AIDS was organized by students at Maharana Pratap National College, Mullana (Ambala). The play featured performances by Muskan, Pinki, Pushpa, Jaswinder Kaur, Radhika, Tamanna, Rinku, Sunny, and Rahul. The play was directed by Assistant Professor of English, Jaibhagwan. Mr. The Principal of the college, Dr. Rajshree Khare, encouraged the students and appreciated the performance. On this occasion, Mr. Rahmdeen, Director of Shikshataru Education and Learning Foundation (SELF), delivered a lecture informing college students about the origin and spread of HIV infection. He emphasized that it is important to share this information with others as well, so that people can protect themselves from the harmful effects of this incurable disease. In his address, he stated that although AIDS is an incurable disease, people living with AIDS can still lead a normal life. An HIV-infected person can also live a healthy life with proper medical care and support.
